Sweet Success with Cadburys

 16th May 2008

We're pleased to announce that we have won further training and consultancy contracts and agreements with major food and drinks companies.

In the past, we've had success, particularly with companies such as HJ Heinz, Tetley GB, and Warburton's as well as regular contracts with drinks giants, Edrington and Diageo, but now we've added more consultancy and training contracts with Cadbury and a training agreement with Northern Foods.

Martin Ambler, Health and Safety Manager at Cadbury, explained the importance of the contracts:

"At Cadbury, we put health and safety as one of our top management priorities and therefore we asked Connaught to create courses for staff at all levels, from courses on Manual Handling to Senior Executive courses; covering the new health and safety legislation on Corporate Manslaughter responsibilities."

Alastair Park, Account Manager at Connaught, commented on the success of the new work,

" It is reassuring that more and more food manufacturing companies are taking health, safety and environmental issues more seriously and using Connaught's services to put in place these training and consultancy initiatives."

Connaught's new agreement with Northern Foods includes delivering CDM (Construction, Design and Management) Overview Courses and Working at Height training.
