Sarah Humphries won best delegate for the National General Certificate at the recent NEBOSH Awards which were held at the University of Warwick .
Sarah, who is Safety and Quality Partner with In-Flight Customer Experience at British Airways, took her NGC with Connaught Compliance Training Services in Windsor last year.
Commenting on her success, Sarah said, "I am responsible for ensuring that the cabin crew have operational procedures in place for BA to meet the legal requirement in order to operate as a commercial airline, and also ensure that the cabin environment is safe for both passengers and our crew.
NEBOSH has provided me with the required depth of knowledge to become an occupational and operational safety expert ensuring that our cabin crew work in a safe environment. Not only is this a fantastic personal achievement in my first year of this job, but by promoting this achievement in BA, it has also promoted the work that the cabin safety experts do in making certain that BA is legally compliant and is committed to continually improving safety."
