This 1-day workshop will explain the significant changes in the Fire Legislation (The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005) and associate fire risk assessments.

This workshop is targeted at personnel at all levels who have a responsibility for carrying out risk assessments in their workplace.

Learning Outcomes

After successfully completing the course the delegate will be better able to:

     Have an appreciation of the significant changes to the fire legislation

     Have an appreciation of the requirement for "The Responsible Person" to take "general fire precautions"

     Outline the methodology for undertaking a fire risk assessment (PAS 79: 2005)

     Have an appreciation of the new Home Office Codes of Practice required to be referenced
