40% of all diseases reported under RIDDOR are for hand-arm vibration in the UK. Legislation places a duty on employers to manage risks involving the measurement of vibration levels. During an on-site visit Connaught can undertake measurements of hand-arm vibration and provide accurate and reliable results using specialised calibrated equipment. We can also provide consultancy support to organisations in managing risks of hand-arm vibration effectively.
On completion of the survey and assessment you will receive a user-friendly report with a prioritised action plan which is independently peer reviewed & sent to you in draft for comment. This comprises a comprehensive record of all measurements undertaken and conclusions relating to the effectiveness of existing control measures, detailed recommendations outlining options available to address any issues identified. These may include suggestions for alternative processes, engineering controls or systems of work and staff training.
