Learning Outcomes

After completing the course the delegate will be better able to:

·       Demonstrate an understanding of Legionnaires' disease & Legionella bacteria

·       Identify the factors required to create a risk from Legionella bacteria

·       Understand the requirements of the current legislation relating to legionellosis risk management

·       Discuss the design of cold water systems and learn how to monitor, maintain and operate such systems

·       Discuss the design of Hot water systems and learn how to monitor, maintain and operate such systems

·       Discuss the design of other water systems and learn how to monitor, maintain and operate such systems. Including air handling units, hydrotherapy / swimming pools and fountains.
