Manual Handling Risk Assessment

More than a third of all over 3-day injuries reported each year to HSE and local authorities are caused by manual handling. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require risk assessments of manual handling activities carried out by people who are competent. The level of competence will vary depending on the complexity of the tasks. We are experienced at carrying out high volume risk assessments.

When do we carry out Manual Handling Risk Assessments?

What do we do?

We can train your staff to assess people carrying out manual handling tasks and we manage the process.

Alternatively we train your staff nominated as assessors and mentor until competent.
