Unit 2 of NEBOSH National General Certificate: Controlling Workplace Hazards
- Movement of people -hazards and control
- Manual and mechanical handling, hazards and control
- Work equipment hazards and control
- Electrical hazards and control
- Fire hazards and control
- Chemical and biological health, hazards and control
- Physical and psychological health, hazards and control
- Construction activities, hazards and control
The practical examination is normally carried out at the delegate's work premises and involves a physical inspection of a workplace to assess the hazards. It is designed to test delegate's ability to complete a health & safety assessment and produce a management style report on their findings.
Delegates are assessed with written examinations for each of the two taught units. A unit Certificate is issued denoting successful achievement of each unit.
