The updated Construction Certificate launched by NEBOSH in the Summer 07 comprises 3 units: NGC1 Management of Health & Safety (Unit 1 of the General Certificate), NCC1 Managing & Controlling Hazards in Construction Activities and NCC2 Construction Health & Safety Practical. This Certificate is for delegates who have successfully completed the NEBOSH General Certificate in the last 5 years. If you need to complete unit 1 the Management of Health & Safety NGC1 of the National General Certificate contact a Course Advisor.
The course provides employees in the construction industry with the essential knowledge required to enable them to take an active part in the management of health and safety in their workplace and the best way to integrate risk management into daily operations and monitor it effectively. It covers key construction issues in more technical detail.
The Certificate is designed for people who have an involvement in construction work & need to provide advice on health, safety & welfare in construction work.

Delegates are awarded the Certificate on successful completion of one 2-hour written paper and a practical assessment which involves safety monitoring of a construction site and the production of a formal report under examination conditions.
