Who the Course is For

This course is especially for those in the maintenance and construction industry.

Any Operatives who task involves them knowingly working with unlicensed asbestos products must have task specific training in line with the HSE Asbestos Essentials 'A task manual for building, maintenance and allied trades on non-licensed asbestos work', such as:

• Electricians
• Plumbers
• Gas Fitters
• Painters and decorators
• Plasterers
• Demolition workers
• Roofers
• Heating and Ventilation Engineers
• Telecommunication Engineers
• Fire and Intruder Alarm Installers
• Computer and Data cable installers
   

Course Overview

Length course dependant on delegates needs and background experience.

• Training on low risk, non-licenses asbestos handling
   
• Covers asbestos removal tasks
   

Certification

Assessment is by multiple-choice questions test and practical assessment. Successful completion of the course allows the individuals to carry a credit card sized certificate. This expires after 12 months when an annual refresher course is necessary.
